- Sleep Therapy
As dental healthcare professionals, it’s our goal to help our patients maintain their oral health so that they can keep their teeth for life. One way we do this is by offering extensive preventive care, which means we’ll keep your smile clean, identify potential issues, and educate you about healthy oral hygiene habits. If your smile needs a little work, we are here to help with that as well.
Some of our comprehensive dental treatments include:
‘‘Prompt, professional! I'm referring my husband - asap! Not only was I informed of current needs but also future dental care/management; there is a realization that I truly have choices in long-term care. It's the first time I've EVER been given that information. Thank you so much!

Your smile is one of the first attributes that people notice. When you live with a beautiful, healthy smile, it can positively impact your entire life.
Even the most common activities, such as smiling, socializing, and eating, can be difficult if you suffer from missing or damaged teeth. Comprehensive dentistry helps prevent potential issues and restores beauty and function to your smile.
Your oral hygiene is fundamental to preserving the health of your smile for a lifetime, as well as preventing significant issues down the road. When you visit SoundBridge Dental Arts & Sleep Therapy for your routine teeth cleaning, we don’t only clean and examine your smile. We also complete a full periodontal charting and an oral cancer screening.
Hygiene visits allow Dr. Bloomquist to monitor your oral health and teach you about techniques you can use to keep your smile healthy for years to come.
Dr. Bloomquist and our team have the expertise to treat patients of all ages. When you choose our Gig Harbor practice for your child’s dental care, you’re investing in a team of dental professionals whose focus is on ensuring they have a positive experience and properly learn how to care for their teeth.
Depending on the severity of damage or decay, we can use a dental crown to restore the way your tooth functions and appears. If you’re missing a tooth, Dr. Bloomquist may recommend a dental bridge. Bridges work by anchoring the restoration to the adjacent teeth.
At SoundBridge Dental Arts & Sleep Therapy, we use tooth-colored composite resin or porcelain fillings to restore areas of your teeth that were affected by decay, fractures, or trauma. Our natural-looking fillings blend with your smile. They also provide added strength and protection, stabilizing the structure of your tooth.
Sealants are a common way to defend your smile from cavity-causing bacteria. A sealant is a thin coat of resin that’s applied to the surface of a tooth. This treatment is often used in hard-to-clean areas.
Dr. Bloomquist has been sedation dentistry certified since 2005 and has completed over 200 cases using sedation. We offer both nitrous oxide and oral concious sedation, depending on your needs. Learn more on our sedation page.
Dental implants are the gold standard of tooth replacement options. At SoundBridge Dental Arts & Sleep Therapy, we can restore one tooth, multiple teeth, or even an entire arch of teeth in your smile using this attractive treatment. Implants provide stability, function, and they prevent conditions of tooth loss, including facial sagging and jawbone deterioration.
Regardless of the story behind your smile, Dr. Bloomquist can restore it to optimal function and beauty. She’ll create a comprehensive treatment plan for your full mouth rehabilitation, precisely executing each step until your smile is exactly how you want it.
A full mouth rehabilitation can consist of one or more treatments and is typically completed over an extended period of time. We’ll work with you to custom-design a treatment plan that’s unique to your needs.
Dentures are one of the most traditional solutions for replacing multiple or an entire arch of teeth. We feature full, partial, and implant-supported dentures. Ask Dr. Bloomquist about your options during your consultation. She’ll help you pick the best one.
At SoundBridge Dental Arts & Sleep Therapy, we want your dental care to be quick, convenient, and as pain-free as possible. For these reasons, Dr. Bloomquist has the necessary skills and training to remove teeth in our office. However, she’ll only extract teeth after exhausting every other possible solution.
Lost or damaged teeth can negatively affect not only the function of your smile but also your self-esteem. We offer custom-fitted mouthguards to protect your teeth from grinding while you sleep and from injury during sports. Unlike store-bought mouthguards, ours are customized to fit comfortably on your smile so they’ll stay in place.
Over the years, root canals have gained a reputation for being scary and painful. However, they don’t have to be. Dr. Bloomquist will use root canal therapy if your tooth is severely damaged from trauma or decay, but thanks to anesthetics, the procedure is nearly painless.
Root canal therapy removes the infected pulp from the center of the tooth, saving the structure from extraction.
During your appointments, we’ll clean your teeth, but we’ll also check your smile for gum disease. If needed, we can schedule a deep cleaning to remove bacteria and take control of the effects of gum disease.
Dr. Bloomquist is qualified to use a special dental laser that’s excellent for treatments that involve soft tissue, such as cold sore removal, periodontal therapy, and gum recontouring. Our patients love the soft-tissue laser because it’s minimally invasive, virtually painless, and promotes faster healing times.
Dr. Bloomquist and our team are here to help you have a healthy smile!
