- Sleep Therapy
As dental healthcare professionals, it’s our goal to help our patients maintain their oral health so they can keep their teeth for life. We take an underlying preventative approach to your care. However, if your smile needs a little TLC, we are here to help with that as well.
Some of our restorative dental treatments include:
‘‘Prompt, professional! I'm referring my husband - asap! Not only was I informed of current needs but also future dental care/management; there is a realization that I truly have choices in long-term care. It's the first time I've EVER been given that information. Thank you so much!

Many of our patients are amazed at how improving the function, health, and aesthetics of their smiles can positively impact the rest of their lives.
A healthy smile not only looks good, but it also promotes better overall health. Gum disease has been connected to many larger health concerns, such as heart disease and Alzheimer’s.
Damaged or missing teeth can make simple tasks such as eating, speaking, and smiling difficult. Restorative dentistry helps prevent further problems and allows you to gain your smile's function and beauty once again.
Your oral hygiene is fundamental to helping you keep your teeth for life and preventing larger issues down the road. When you come in for your routine teeth cleaning, we not only clean and examine your teeth, but we also complete a full periodontal charting and an oral cancer screening. Maintaining your clean teeth at home is just as important as your bi-annual cleanings with us. We take extra time to discuss and educate you on techniques you can use on your own.
Dr. Bloomquist and our team are experienced in treating patients of all ages. We focus on helping your children have a positive experience while they learn how to keep their teeth clean and healthy.
Crowns and Bridges
If a tooth is damaged from trauma or decay, we will use a crown, or tooth-colored cap, to restore function and aesthetic to your smile. A dental bridge works as a replacement for a missing tooth by anchoring the restoration to the two adjacent teeth.
At SoundBridge Dental Arts, we use tooth-colored resin or porcelain fillings to restore areas of your teeth that have been affected by decay, fractures, or trauma. Our resin or porcelain fillings not only look natural and blend with your smile, they also help conserve and strengthen your tooth structure.
Sealants are a common way to protect your teeth from cavity-causing bacteria. A sealant is a thin coat of resin that is applied to the surface of a tooth. It is often used in places where there are hard-to-clean grooves or pits.
Dr. Bloomquist has been sedation dentistry certified since 2005 and has completed over 200 cases using sedation. We offer both nitrous oxide and oral concious sedation, depending on your needs. Learn more on our sedation page.
A dental implant is often praised as the best way to replace a missing tooth. The titanium implant is surgically placed in your jawbone and functions like the root of a tooth, allowing for more stability and better function for your restoration. Dr. Bloomquist works meticulously to create a restoration that looks natural and blends with your smile.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation
No matter what the story behind your smile, our restorative dental expert, Dr. Bloomquist, can restore your smile to optimal function and beauty. Your full mouth rehabilitation treatment plan is tailored specifically to your needs and goals. It can consist of one or more treatments and is sometimes spread over a period of time. We work with each patient to create a treatment plan that is best suited to his or her unique needs.
Dentures are one of the most traditional solutions for the replacement of missing teeth. We offer full, partial, and implant retained dentures. During your consultation, Dr. Bloomquist will go over your options and help you decide which is best for your unique smile.
We want to make your dental care convenient, which is why Dr. Bloomquist is skilled and trained to remove teeth in our office, as opposed to sending you to a specialist. You may need an extraction if you have a tooth that is severely damaged from trauma or decay or if you need to prepare for other dental work such as orthodontics or implants.
Nightguards and Sports Mouthguards
Lost or damaged teeth can negatively affect not only the function of your smile, but also your self-esteem. We offer custom-fit mouthguards to protect your teeth from grinding while you sleep and from injury during sports. Unlike store-bought mouthguards, ours are customized to fit your smile so they will feel better and stay in place.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canals don’t have to be scary! Root canal therapy can actually be a positive option for a tooth that is severely damaged from trauma or decay. Root canal therapy removes the infected portion of the tooth, allowing for the structure to be saved. It can often be an alternative to an extraction. We go above and beyond to make sure our patients feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments.
During your appointments, we not only clean your teeth, but we also screen for signs of oral cancer and gum disease. If needed, we will schedule extra deep cleanings to help remove bacteria and control the effects of gum disease.
A soft-tissue laser is used for a variety of treatments within our practice, the most common being cold sore treatments, periodontal therapy, and gum recontouring. Our patients love the soft-tissue laster because it is minimally invasive, virtually painless, and promotes fast healing time.
Dr. Bloomquist and our team are here to help you have a healthy smile!
